About Me

My name is Alex Berry, and I’m a technology enthusiast and IT professional based in Tooele, Utah. I graduated from Tooele High School with the Class of 2026, where I was honored to be selected as the 2026 Sterling Scholar for Computer Technology. I’m currently attending Utah State University, studying Cybersecurity and IT Support. I’m working toward earning my associate degree before continuing on to complete my bachelor’s degree.

My passion for computers began in the 4th grade, and since then, I’ve continued developing my skills through hands-on experience, coursework, certifications, and personal projects. Throughout high school, I studied areas including computer systems, cybersecurity, cyber defense, and computer forensics. My goal is to continue expanding my knowledge and use my experience to help others solve their technology problems.

Outside of technology, I was heavily involved in DECA throughout all four years of high school. During my junior year, I served as Vice President of Hospitality, and during my senior year, I had the opportunity to serve as President of Tooele DECA. I placed at local competitions and qualified to go to Nationals. These experiences helped me develop valuable leadership, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills that I bring into my work in IT.

I enjoy working with technology because there is always something new to learn. Whether I’m troubleshooting a computer, setting up a new device, helping someone with their technology, or learning about cybersecurity, I enjoy finding solutions and making technology easier for others to use.
